OS ENTRAVES PARA A TRANSIÇÃO DA INDÚSTRIA 4.0: A REALIDADE NO BRASIL E NA ESPANHA
Abstract
In the current context, organizations are faced with a new reality in which connectivity and technology are gaining prominence. Therefore, due to this, factories will need to adapt to this phenomenon in order to be able to commercialize products at a competitive cost, thus maintaining themselves in this fierce global market. Today, what many experts consider to be the fourth Industrial Revolution, Industry 4.0, is at its peak, which will enable relevant changes in production processes. Known for the convergence of digital, physical and biological technologies, it is anchored mainly in the interconnectivity between the digital and virtual world, in artificial intelligence, in the Internet of things, as well as in other characteristics that will be addressed in the course of this work. After explaining its characteristics, this article aims to compare the reality of advances in Industry 4.0 in countries like Brazil and Spain, in order to identify what are the main challenges and difficulties for the implementation of this new productive model, taking into account in view of historical ties, as well as the growing trade between these countries. For this, the methodology applied in this article is based on an exploratory and bibliographic study. In this way, it was possible to verify that for Brazil and Spain to reach the advances made by Industry 4.0, it will be necessary a high financial investment, as well as the breaking of some paradigms, since a great part of the managers climb for short term profits. However, according to the study, advances in Industry 4.0 will bring results in the medium and long term.
