THE OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES OF THE USE OF DRONES IN THE BRAZILIAN LOGISTICS SECTORS
Abstract
The pandemic had as a counterpart the need for many adaptations and among them the development and investment in a new delivery modality, in particular the use of drones. This research consists of a theoretical study regarding the possibilities of implementing and using drones in the logistics transport system in Brazil, in order to describe and disseminate their main advantages and disadvantages. Aims to verify and compare the main benefits of its use as a new modal of transport in the logistics area, the descriptive method was used, since the research aims to explore and describe the main adversities and benefits of the use of drones in logistics. The main results observed show that it is the versatility with which the equipment constantly evolves bringing updates and improvements both in mechanical and operational issues, thus gaining a great opportunity to enter efficiently in several specific segments in Brazilian logistics transport.
