Abstract

Nowadays, ICT (Information and Communication Technology), which were already widely used in everyday life, have become even more common, especially due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19 that brought the need for social distance as protective measure. In this way, schools and universities started to accelerate the implementation of digital tools in their teaching process. In this sense, the objective of this work was to analyze how ICT and Active Methodologies contribute to a better use of the FATECs’ Technological College Education, and how the professors of this institution make use of them in this process. Through the analysis of an online survey, quantitative and qualitative data were collected on the use of ICT and their relation to active methodologies. After the study, it was concluded that Information and Communication Technologies, which were already used before the pandemic, became essential in the pedagogical routine of teachers for the continuity of classes during the pandemic period, favoring the practice of active and, consequently, the teaching and learning process.
