The methodology used was experimental research of an exploratory nature, through a case study. A partnership was established between Fatec Jahu and an oncology hospital in the City of Jaú, State of São Paulo, among the methodological stages the following stand out: technical visit; analysis of similar products; semi-structured interview with the occupational therapist at the aforementioned hospital, prototyping and testing. A prototype was made in PVC and the product was tested for 2 months in the palliative care area within the hospital itself. The results were satisfactory according to the Occupational Therapist (OT) of the hospital participating in the research.
