O PROCESSO DE CONFORMAÇÃO DE CONES PARA VASOS DE PRESSÃO EM INDÚSTRIA SUCROALCOOLEIRA
Abstract
In competitive environments, process improvement is essential for the survival of companies seeking to consolidate or even lead markets. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the cone-forming process for pressure vessels in a sugar and ethanol industry. The methodology adopted for this study is a qualitative approach, based on a literature review and a case study in a sugar and ethanol industry located in the interior of the state of São Paulo. Through the analysis, it was possible to demonstrate the cone-forming process in a sugar and ethanol industry and identify how an improvement, using a template proposed and developed by the employees themselves, reduced the execution time to just a quarter of that required by the manual method, demonstrating improvements in part quality and reducing worker fatigue compared to the previous manual process.
