GESTÃO AMBIENTAL A IMPORTÂNCIA DESSE TEMA NA FORMAÇÃO DE UM ADMINISTRADOR
Abstract
At present, although many companies include in their business models the prospects of sustainability and environmental management as a strategy of competitiveness, there is still much to do because the correct destination of solid waste in Brazil falls short of the desired expectations. In this context, it is essential to raise the level of awareness of management students about this challenge, even because they will be the future administrators, with decision-making power to reverse this picture. Therefore, this article sought, through bibliographical research and a case study, to understand the levels of interest of management students - already graduated or finishing graduation - regarding environmental management in companies. It was observed, therefore, that most of them already work in the labor market, considers this subject very important, but, on the other hand, it had insufficient working hours of this discipline in the course of administration and produced very little research in the area of environmental management.
