Abstract

The term “sustainability” is being placed on the agenda very frequently on the world stage, which is why several studies point to an increase in the degradation of the environment that in the future may cause irreversible damage to human beings. The first time that humanity faced the deficit of natural resources was in 1970. Since then, these resources are being depleted, in such a way that it is compromising the planet's capacity to regenerate. Consequently, there was the idea of creating a product from natural resources, aiming to stand out, primarily from the corporate scope and encourage sustainable consumption, which in turn can stimulate its public to seek such products. In view of this, the objective of this study is to develop an automated lighting using bamboo as the main raw material, making use of the automation process so that the lighting occurs through palms. To this end, an exploratory research was carried out in some commercial organizations, to obtain knowledge of how committed they are to the environment and which product would be most attractive to them. The results obtained were satisfactory, automation brought a differential to the product. The developed lamp can replace lamps, lamps and other similar products that use materials that can cause damage to the environment
